Referrals:

If you subscribe to a managed care insurance plan, a referral authorization may be required for services not provided by First Care Physicians. These referrals must be initiated by your physician. For routine referrals, you should hear from our office within a few days of the request being submitted, however, the authorization process for some referrals may take up to 7 days to complete. If you have not heard from our office within one week, please contact your doctor's nurse. If there is some urgency related to diagnosing your medical condition, the authorization process will be expedited according to medical necessity.
